Membership

Don’t wait another minute to start receiving the benefits of Ad Club membership. Your Amarillo Advertising Federation membership automatically entitles you to membership in the American Advertising Federation (AAF) - the only existing national network of professional ad clubs.

Dues Breakdown

The Amarillo Advertising Federation Dues are $52.50/Bi-annualor $105 annually. The dues are distributed threeways: $41 goes to the American Advertising Federation, $54 stayswith the Amarillo Advertising Federation and $10 goes to the TenthDistrict.

The $41 sent to the American Advertising Federation is used,in part, to lobby for positive legislation affecting the advertisingindustry nationally.

The national organization also produces "How To" bookson local ad club operations, such as how to develop strong committees.A list of outstanding programs are cataloged for local ad clubsto book for their own meetings.

The Tenth District portion is used at the state level for legislativeissues.

The local portion is used to supplement a budget for programs, newsletters, and other committee-supported operations.

Another cost to members is the meal cost. Thiscost is billed quarterly to each member whether or not they attendmeetings. $96/Quarter ($16 per meal) or $384/Annual.Guest meals are $18, paid tothe treasurer during that program/lunch.

There is also a one-time Initiation Fee chargeto new members. $20/Member (single membership)and $10 for each associate membership (multiplecompany memberships).

If interested in a full year of AAF membership, with meals, itwould cost $509 for the first year.
$489 each following year. "Meal charges"are sent/billed quarterly.

As a member, if you choose to pay for mealsquarterly or annually (v.s. at each meeting), that charge is appliedwhether attending the program/lunch or not. When unable to attenda program, we encourage sending another associate in your placeto "sit in" for you.
